To accept a change, cheque the box next to the Other authors icon (besides shown below).

Tips for working in the Comments task pane

On a slide yous'll run into a Comments icon when someone has left a comment. Double-click the icon to read the annotate.
Click Adjacent to move to the side by side comment and click Previous to move to the previous comment.
